Portrait Drawing 101

Saturdays 10am - 12:30pm

APril 4th - May 26th (no class May 9)

This portrait course will cover all the basics of portraiture from basic construction and anatomy of the head to rendering techniques.

Gouache Landscape Painting

Wednesdays 6pm-8:30pm

Dates TBA (6 week course)

Come learn to paint with gouache through the lens of landscape painting! We will cover everything from color mixing to painting specific elements of landscapes.

The sketchbook as an internal compass

2 hour, One Day workshop - Date TBA

Having trouble processing and dealing with world events? Come be in community and externalize your feelings through painting and poetry. In collaboration with poet Katherine Hiltbrand.

Intro to sketchbooking

Thursdays, 6-8pm

April 9th - April 30th

Try a fun variety of media and techniques including pencil, dip pen, watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. we will cover a range of technical drawing skills as well as fun explorations of our creative selves and visual ideas.

Charcoal Portrait Drawing

Tuesdays, 6-8:30pm

April 14th - (6 week course)

This class is a great follow-up to Portrait 101 or if you are just looking to try out charcoal! Covered topics include material basics, various charcoal techniques and head anatomy.
