Class Summary

This beginner friendly course is designed to give you the tools you need to start drawing portraits confidently. Whether you are looking to get started on your drawing journey or wanting to refine your portrait drawing skills, this class is for you!

Format

Each class begins with a live instructor demonstration followed by instructed drawing time for the rest of the class. If you have your own reference you would like to bring please print it out. (ipads or phones can work too but print is easiest) Pet portraits are welcome as well. Clear, strong lighting from a single light will make things easier. If you don’t have a printer I can print it for you, please email me at connerchoi@gmail.com.

Week 2 Intro to structural drawing and drawing eyes

Week 3 Organizing values in your drawings. Drawing noses

Week 4 Drawing ears and mouths
