Class Summary

Learn to sketch the world around you to record your everyday life or travels! Each week we will use a new medium and have fun exploring different drawing and painting techniques.

No previous drawing or painting experience is required.

Format

Each class begins with a live instructor demonstration followed by instructed drawing time for the rest of the class. We will draw from a variety of references, working with a new medium each week!

Syllabus

Week 1 The Line, Pencil, Pen & Ink

Week 2 Toned Paper with White

Week 3 Color! Pencils, Markers & Gouache

Week 4 Bringing it all Together, Mixed Media

Materials

All materials provided including your very own sketchbook to take home!
